The Core of Whirlwind
Environmental Services is not a single department, but the core of Whirlwind. Environmental Services encompasses all environmentally sensitive jobs performed by all departments: spraying by our certified staff, pressure washing with water reclamation, disposal of paint waste from striping, disposal of street sweepings, wetland mitigation maintenance with invasive and noxious weed removal, and implementation of proper BMP’s for work performed by crews.
Whirlwind Services offers a variety of environmental services to its clients, including storm water management, vactor services, bio-swale maintenance programs, in-house water testing, and development bond remediation. Our staff includes
an in-house wetlands specialist, whose sole objective is to assist our clients in ensuring that the wetlands surrounding commercial sites are maintained in accordance with the regulations stipulated by the States of Washington, Alaska, and Oregon.
